John Smith is assistant general manager for Total Power Group (TPG), where he provides operational leadership focused on performance, safety and continuous improvement. He brings more than 25 years of experience leading complex operations across manufacturing, supply chain and program management in highly competitive environments.
In his role, John is responsible for developing and executing operational strategies that support business objectives, strengthen cost controls and improve overall efficiency. He leads cross‑functional teams and establishes performance metrics that enhance productivity, mitigate risk and drive sustainable results.
Throughout his career, John has held senior leadership roles overseeing operations, supply chain and program execution. He is known for his hands‑on leadership style, collaborative approach and ability to translate strategy into disciplined execution while building strong, accountable teams.
John considers his proudest achievement to be being the father of three young adults, two daughters and a son. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, kayaking and camping. He also plays disc golf and traditional golf.
