Kirsten Baker is chief estimator for Total Power Group (TPG), where she leads pre‑construction efforts focused on electrical systems and control integration for rail and transit infrastructure.
In her role, Kirsten is responsible for the detailed estimation and strategic bidding of traction power substations, including new construction, rehabilitation and modernization, translating complex high‑voltage designs into accurate and competitive bids.
She provides leadership in high‑voltage equipment procurement, cost modeling and risk forecasting for specialized electrical systems, while also driving process improvements that increase bid efficiency and consistency from pre‑construction through execution.
Kirsten is known for her collaborative leadership style and her ability to align engineering, procurement and operations teams to deliver coordinated, buildable and profitable solutions.
Outside of work, Kirsten spends time with her husband and their three children enjoying outdoor activities, reading and working on interior design projects at their home in North Carolina.
